anat & joe silvera
Each of us were artful jewelers long before we met. Anat a
beadworker and metalsmith with a passion for ancient and modern traditions in jewelry.
Joe a college trained metalsmith and goldsmith, specializing in lost wax casting.
We met in 1999 at a slow craft show in Oakland, Ca. It's been a whirlwind of excitement ever
since. Less than a year later we were married. Shortly after that we had the once in
a lifetime opportunity to spend a year abroad in France and Portugal. Back home,
we set about settling down in California. Almost two years later we found our
little home amidst the orchards and vineyards of Lake County, north of Napa. Workmates
as well as soulmates, we've joined our experience and imagination to
create these collections of adornment, expressing our love of animals, beads and
metalsmithing.
